Barcelona stage a dramatic comeback to defeat Sevilla to advance to the Copa del Rey final. Ousmane Dembele reduced the 2-0 deficit for the home side with an early strike. Lucas Ocampos then missed a golden chance to put the visitors on the brink, placing a tame penalty straight at Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. Gerard Pique capitalised to be the hero at the death for the Catalan club heading home from close range to send the contest into extra-time. Martin Braithwaite then scored the decisive goal in the additional period, which also saw Sevilla denied another penalty for handball. Fernando and Luuk de Jong saw red on a night to forget for Julen Lopetegui's men.

OVER! Trincao surges in from the right flank and opens up space to shoot on his left foot after weaving past two challenges. However, Kounde comes in with a vital block to divert his strike over the bar.
Trincao twists and turns his way around Sevilla defenders and wins a free-kick for a loose challenge by Gomez.
The game is still not over and Barca need to be careful in their approach. They cannot afford to let the visitors back into the tie at this stage.

PENALTY TO SEVILLA! En-Nesyri runs at the Barcelona defence and releases Ocampos in the left inside channel. The forward is brought down by a stray leg from Mingueza, and the referee does not hesitate in pointing to the spot. A huge moment in the contest.
Alba finds room on the left flank, but Navas speeds across to block his cross and the deflection rises to hit the Barcelona man on the hand to give Sevilla a free-kick.
Mingueza brings down Ocampos on the left flank and goes into the book.
OFF THE BAR! Dembele finds acres of room down the right inside channel and he stands up a cross to the back post. Alba meets it with a bicycle kick flush on the volley, only to be denied by the bar. The Spaniard is denied a great goal.
Messi latches on to a flick from Pedri in the final third, but a wall of white shirts converge to repel his powerful strike.
Griezmann comes on to the field to replace Dest. Barca will re-shuffle their shape.

Barca have looked a tad short of ideas in the second half. Messi has been quiet in the opening 15 minutes.
Sevilla are solid at the back at the moment. The home side are applying pressure, but the defensive discipline has been excellent since the restart from Lopetegui's men.
Pedri tries to send Dest down the right flank into space, but the full-back is caught offside. Barca are trying to build a rhythm to their play that they used to good effect in the first half.

Acuna has to act in the six-yard box to clear Alba's dangerous cross over his own bar after a neat one-two between the Barcelona full-back and Messi.
CLOSE! Vidal clips a ball over the top into the right inside channel for De Jong. However, the Dutchman just cannot stretch make contact as Ter Stegen races off his line to smother at his feet.

Barcelona start the night needing to overcome a 2-0 deficit to advance to the final of the competition.
