Commentary

And that will do it on an enthralling night at the Vicente Calderon, where Granada were spanked on all sides by a rampant Atletico Madrid. Carrasco led the way with three goals and two assists to drive his side back to the top of the table, and keep the visitors on the opposite end of the standings. That's all from us, thanks for tuning in!
90' We're closing in on the end of one of the most lopsided matches of the Liga season. Three goals in around five minutes near the end of the second half have put Atletico in seventh heaven.
Y. Carrasco
Assist
Atlético Madrid
87' He's closing in on a hat-trick of assists now to go with his three goals!
Tiago
Goal
Atlético Madrid
87' THERE'S NUMBER SEVEN! This has gone beyond embarrassing a long while ago. Tiago is the latest to get in on the act after arriving at the back post to finish high into the roof of the net.
Á. Correa
Goal
Atlético Madrid
85' IT'S 6-1 TO ATLETICO! Well deserved goal for Correa, who has been excellent all night. The No. 11 slips past his man at the top of the box as if he was greased, and then fires an accomplished finish into the bottom corner.
83' Javi Marquez bends a 30-yard free kick well over the bar. Not long left in this game and Granada will have to look to their next match at home to Sporting to start potting points on the board.
N. Gaitán
Goal
Atlético Madrid
81' FIFTH FOR ATLETICO MADRID! It's just hopeless from Granada, who want to be back on the coach home. Intelligent finish from the substitute, who cuts in and lashes in a lovely effort.
Y. Carrasco
Assist
Atlético Madrid
81' Three goals and an assist now for Carrasco.
78' Godin does excellently to win the ball back for his side, and he sparks Atleti on the counter. Correa strides through the middle, but his attempt at a one-two is asking an awful lot of Torres.
76' Long-range effort from Javi Marquez as he looks to catch Oblak off his line, but he gets it all wrong and is booed, holding a hand up in apology. It's been that sort of night for Granada.
A. Kravets
E. Ponce
Granada
75' Kravets will play the last 15 minutes in place of Ponce.
74' Not a whole lot happening out on the pitch as Atletico soak up the adulation from their fans, having done the damage in a devastating second-half spell. Granada look completely lost for ideas.
72' Ponce is called for a foul when trying to get to a misguided pass from Javi Marquez. The strike has cut a very lonely and frustrated figure for Granada up top for the majority of this game.
70' The Vicente Calderon is in full voice with their side about 20 minutes away from heading back to the top of the table, barring the comebacks to end all comebacks from Granada.
68' Doesn't look like there's any let-up in sight from Atletico Madrid. Carrasco is at it again, attacking a bouncing ball with an overhead kick from the back post that flashes just wide!
Fernando Torres
A. Griezmann
Atlético Madrid
67' Griezmann is also replaced by Torres.
Tiago
Koke
Atlético Madrid
67' Koke will take a walk as Tiago enters the fray.
66' This has turned into a training-ground exercise for the home side, who are coming at Granada from all angles. Isaac Cuenca's fantastic opener seems a lifetime away now.
U. Agbo
V. Angban
Granada
64' Angban's night is at an end as Agbo comes on.
U. Agbo
Yellow Card
Granada
64' Moments after coming on the pitch, he picks up a yellow for a foul on Carrasco.
David Barral
Alberto Bueno
Granada
63' David Barral has been brought on for Bueno.
N. Gaitán
Goal
Atlético Madrid
63' IT'S A FOURTH GOAL! Gaitan has scored with his first touch, after Atleti swarm their way into the penalty area. Filipe Luis' cross causes problems and after an initial save from Ochoa on Correa, the substitute picks up the pieces on the rebound!
N. Gaitán
K. Gameiro
Atlético Madrid
62' Gaitan has been introduced for Gameiro.
A. Griezmann
Assist
Atlético Madrid
61' Splendid work to get the better of Gabriel Silva.
Y. Carrasco
Goal
Atlético Madrid
61' HAT-TRICK FOR CARRASCO! Griezmann simply powers past Gabriel Silva down on the flank, and he cuts the ball back to the Belgian, who places a wonderful finish home!
Á. Correa
Yellow Card
Atlético Madrid
60' Correa is booked for hauling down Marquez.
60' Just about an hour gone and Atletico continue to bide their time inside the opposition half. It's starting to get scrappy out there, with both sets of players not shying away from the challenges.
58' Atletico work a short corner with Koke finding Correa, but he doesn't read the intentions for the return ball down the byline as the keeper comes out to claim. Methodical tempo to this half so far.
56' Koke passes to Griezmann, who then shuffles the ball out to Carrasco. However, he can't get past Tito, but does get a corner. The referee has more words for Godin and Bueno about their earlier tit-tat.
54' Easy clearance for Savic to end a potential Granada attack, but the visitors come back with Toto down the right-hand side. However, Godin slides the ball out of play and has some words for Bueno which the referee has to quiet.
52' Atletico have dominated the ball to start the second half, but haven't really fashioned any clear openings. Granada are always in this at 2-1, but one more Rojiblancos goal and it could be curtains.
50' Offside again on Gameiro, after some lovely build-up from Atletico Madrid. This time, the referee makes the right decision in conjunction with his assistant as the Granada line stepped up.
48' Atletico are moving the ball quite swiftly across the final third, and Carrasco nearly gets in down the byline thanks to another reverse pass, but he runs out of room in the end.
46' Here we go again!
Atletico complete the turnaround just before half-time after an intriguing first 45 minutes. Cuenca's wonder strike put Granada into a shock lead but the hosts never let up, and surged in front thanks to Carrasco's double. A lot to play for in the second half, so stay tuned.
Á. Correa
Assist
Atlético Madrid
45' Lovely pass from Correa to free Carrasco on the opposite flank.

45' ATLETICO HAVE A SECOND GOAL! Carrasco is at it again to put the home side in front on the stroke of half-time. Correa switches play to the Belgian on the left, and he cuts inside before letting fly, with a deflection taking it past Ochoa.
44' Granada play a remarkably high defensive line against a free-kick, but it appears to have worked as Godin was called for an offside. He really should have timed his run better there.
42' Gabriel Silva is lucky that he did not have a Rojiblanco around him as he swung and missed at a cross. He had the time to clean up his own mess on the edge of the penalty area though.
40' Gameiro can't win an initial header against Angban, but as the Chelsea loanee switches off, he drives to the byline to pick up Juanfran's slipped pass, only to see his cross blocked out.
38' Atletico Madrid have finished third in each of the last two seasons after the miracle title win of 2013-14, finishing as runners-up in the Champions League twice as well - to their great rivals Real Madrid.
36' The crosses are coming thick and fast from Atletico, and Granada have a lot on their plate to deal with defensively. It's less than 10 minutes to go until the break, and the visitors would love to go in level the way things are going.
S. Savić

34' The ball touched Savic last before it reached Carrasco.

34' CARRASCO TIES THINGS UP! From a corner, Griezmann's weak header is pushed unconvincingly by Ochoa into the box, and it falls to the former Monaco man, who lashes it home!
32' SAVED BY THE KEEPER! Correa races in on goal down the blindside of the defender and tries to prod in a finish at the near post, but Ochoa gets down low and makes the stop with his legs!
30' Carrasco tries to trick his way down the left-hand side past Tito, but he gets too aggressive with the Granada right-back, hauling him to the turf and conceding a foul that ends that attack.
28' Juanfran passes the ball to Griezmann, who was so determined to cut infield that he failed to notice that the full-back was left wide open. A simple return throughball and Juanfran would have been in.
26' Atleti are beginning to apply more pressure down the flanks, with the full-backs getting some testing crosses into the area. Granada are sitting off a little too much now, allowing them to have the ball.
24' Carrasco finds Juanfran in a good amount of space, but the right-back's cross is cleared out for a corner. Moments later, from Gabi's delivery, Godin gets his head on the ball but can't keep it down.
22' SAVIC TO THE RESCUE! Ponce looked to be in as he raced between the centre-backs, but just as the ball dropped and he was about to strike, the defender made a vital clearance!
20' It takes something special to score against this Atletico Madrid side and my word we've just seen it. That goal has filled Granada with momentum, as they force a corner and are looking purposeful on the ball.
Tito
Assist
Granada
18' Token assist, since that one was all Cuenca!
Isaac Cuenca
Goal
Granada
18' SENSATIONAL STRIKE AND GRANADA LEAD! Cuenca shows why he was on the books of Barcelona at one point, turning and setting himself up with his first touch, then slamming a tremendous volley into the top shelf.
15' First chance for Granada to get men forward, and they win a free-kick about 28 yards from goal. Lomban takes charge of the free-kick, but the big centre-back can only whack it into the wall.
13' Offside! The flag is up against Gameiro, who appeared to be level with the last defender as Griezmann's pass found a way through. The assistant referee was in a perfect position, should have made a better decision.
11' Filipe Luis overlaps down the flank and whips in a magnificent cross that is just beyond Gameiro, and Granada manage to clear their lines. The hosts are starting to apply more pressure.
8' A sweeping cross is too quick even for Griezmann to catch. He's been the subject of some interesting comments from Franck Ribery, who claimed that he wasn't a world class player at this stage.
6' You just sense that Atletico are getting into their stride now after a few minutes of scrappy play from both sides with no real pattern being established. Their full-backs are starting to push forward.
3' Slow start to this one here at the Vicente Calderon. In the last five meetings between these sides, Granada haven't won or scored a single goal. Is there hope for them to change that record today?
1' Off we go!
Ezequiel Ponce leads the line for the visitors, with former Barcelona man Isaac Cuenca in attacking midfield. Javi Marquez and Victorien Angban man the centre of the park for Granada.
Juanfran, who did not travel with Spain for the international break, gets the nod ahead of Sime Vrsaljko, who has two assists for Croatia. Saul is still out with an injury, so it's Koke and Gabi in midfield.
Granada subs: Boga, Atzili, Kravets, Oier, Samper, Agbo, Barral.
Granada (4-2-3-1): Ochoa; Tito, Ruben Vezo, Lomban, Gabriel Silva; Marquez, Angban; Cuenca, Bueno, Pereira; Ponce.
Atletico subs: Andre Moreira, Tiago, Torres, Vrsaljko, Hernandez, Partey, Gaitan.
Atletico Madrid (4-4-2): Oblak; Juanfran, Savic, Godin, Filipe Luis; Carrasco, Koke, Gabi, Correa; Gameiro, Griezmann.
Along with Osasuna, Granada haven't managed to win yet this season, and currently prop up the standings with two points from seven matches. It already looks to be a long battle against relegation - which they narrowly avoided last year.
Atletico can re-take the lead in the Spanish top flight with a win here, after Sevilla's dramatic 3-2 win over Leganes earlier in the day. They're one of only three sides not to lose in 2016-17, and have only conceded twice in seven games.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Liga encounter between Atletico Madrid and Granada at the Vicente Calderon. Two teams virtually at opposite ends of the table do battle, with the division's best defence facing off against its worst.
