Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare has declared Wilfred Ndidi fit for their English Premier League clash against West Brom on Monday night.

The 20-year-old midfielder played for the entire duration as Nigeria saw off Zambia 1-0 to clinch their Russia 2018 World Cup spot on Saturday.

On his return to the King Power Stadium, the former Genk midfielder was reported to have 'cramp'. But the Foxes handler has cleared all doubts regarding his participation in the game against Tony Pulis' side.

“It is always a strange week international week but playing Monday has helped us this time in terms of getting everyone back and getting a clean bill of health," Shakespeare told club website.

“There was a scare about Wilfred Ndidi but it was only cramp.

“He trained today (Thursday) fully. He is fine, no problems there."

Leicester City currently sit 17th in the English topflight with just five points from seven games.
