Bandari FC are aiming at continuing with their recent good run when they host Sofapaka in the FKF Shield Cup on Saturday.

The Dockers have been posting some good results in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL), winning their last four matches.

Coach Twahir Muhiddin states the main aim for the 2019 Shield champions is to keep on doing well in all competitions.

"My players are in high spirits and ready for the game against Sofapaka this weekend," Muhiddin told Goal on Friday.

"This will be another game to show we have improved and the only way to prove it is by winning the game.

"We will be taking it like any other league match; if we change our training pattern and style of play, we will be putting the players under unnecessary pressure."

The former Kenya coach has also confirmed Wycliffe Ochomo will not be involved.

"[Ochomo] is still healing after sustaining a muscle tear on his thigh but we expect him back soon. Apart from Ochomo, everyone else is available for the game," Muhiddin concluded.

"Our target remains winning the competition once again to represent the nation in the Caf Confederation Cup next season."
