Zimbabwe’s Quincy Antipas fires Hobro past Lyngby

Quincy Antipas was on target as Hobro were 3-0 victors over Lyngby in a Danish Superliga clash on Sunday.

The former Zimbabwe international opened the scoring for the hosts with 31 minutes played. After a great pass by Bjorn Kopplin finds him inside the 18-yard box, the veteran striker stroked the ball past Mikkel Andersen in the visitor’s goal.

Antipas was replaced with three minutes left in the game by Jacob Tjoernelund.

With the match in its dying moments, Norwegian Paal Alexander Kirkevold scored the second for HIK in the 90th minute and, just a minute later he had his brace and Hobro’s third.

This win sees Thomas Thomasberg’s men climb up to sixth on the Danish top-flight log and next visit Mascot Park to take on Silkeborg in their next game on August 25.
