Wembley is one of the most iconic venues in football, having staged so many of the game's memorable moments.
The hallowed turf has witnessed a World Cup final and a European Championship final, as well as hundreds of FA Cup and League Cup finals, with plenty of historic results occurring over the years.

How to get to Wembley Stadium
Once you've decided what you want to see at Wembley, the next step is deciding how to get there and there are plenty of transport options available.
If you opt to travel by train , the stadium is connected to two London Underground stations: Wembley Park station (Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) and Wembley Central (Bakerloo line).
London Overground and National Rail (Chiltern) services are also available from the Wembley Central and Wembley Stadium Station respectively.

National Express provides a coach service for Wembley and is the stadium's official partner for coach travel. Local Metroline bus routes which go towards Wembley include numbers 18, 83, 92 and 224.
Wembley Stadium is described as a public transport destination, with limited parking, and thus driving by car is generally not advised. However, should you wish to drive by car you should try to book parking to avoid disappointment on arrival.
For the active among us, Wembley is also a bicycle friendly venue and there is parking available near the north-east corner of the stadium, beside the Green Car Park.
Football matches at Wembley Stadium
Wembley's chief function is to serve as a venue for football matches, so it's no surprise to see that games figure prominently in the calendar.
Not only does the stadium host England's international matches, it has also been the temporary home of Premier League club Tottenham while they await the completion of their new stadium.
Spurs will soon move into the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but they will play at Wembley until the end of December at least, with the likes of Manchester City as well as PSV and Inter visiting the London venue.
Gareth Southgate's England will complete their UEFA Nations League group commitments in November against Croatia and they will warm up for that game with a friendly against the USA.
Wembley will also play host to a number of competition finals in 2019, including the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, as well as the various Football League play-off deciders.

Concerts & music gigs at Wembley Stadium
Some of the most iconic musicians in the world have played at Wembley Stadium over the years.
As well as being the stage for Live Aid in 1985, which saw the likes of Queen, David Bowie, The Who and U2 perform, Wembley has been a popular venue for bands such as Genesis, The Rolling Stones and Oasis.
Other acts to play gigs at Wembley include Madonna, Foo Fighters, AC/DC and Metallica, while in more recent times, the stage has been graced by stars such as Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Rihanna.

NFL games at Wembley Stadium
Wembley Stadium hosted the first regular season NFL game outside of North America - and the first in Europe - when the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins faced off at the venue in 2007.
Since then, American Football contests have become much more frequent at the stadium as the popularity of the NFL International Series expands.
Some of NFL's biggest teams have taken to the field at Wembley, including the New England Patriots, the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks.
