VOTE: Fans' Asian Player of the Week

Mame Thiam, Ahmad Nourollahi or Baghdad Bounedjah - Who should be the Asian Player of the Week?

This past week saw intense action in the AFC Champions League with some exciting matches. 

Among all the stellar performances that we saw, we have picked out three standout performers for the fans to deliberate upon and decide whose contribution was the best of the lot.

Our first candidate is Mame Thiam of Esteghlal. The forward was exceptional for the Iranian side in their 3-1 win over Zobahan, scoring a hat-trick and propelling his team into the quarter-finals. He was named Toyota Asian Player of the Week. 

Our second candidate is Ahmad Nourollahi of Persepolis. The midfielder was in inspired form against Al Jazira, scoring a goal and creating four chances.

Our final candidate for the honour is Al Sadd's Baghdad Bounedjah. He was in his element against Al Ahly and scored a brace.
