Swansea make £3 million bid for Andy Yiadom

Ghanaian duo Jordan Ayew and Andy Yiadom could link up at Premier League side Swansea City if Barnsley accepts their £3 million bid for the full-back.

Yiadom has been in stunning form since his arrival in Oakwell and his impressive appearanceS in the previous campaign caught the attention of a number of Premier League and Championship sides including the Welsh side.

Huddersfield Town, Reading and Swansea are all reportedly keen on the 25-year-old but according to the Sun,  Paul Clement’s side has moved to the front of the queue with their latest offer.

Barnsley have already rejected three bids from David Wagner to take Yiadom with to the Premier League with his newly promoted side.

But the Tykes refused to budge on their asking price and are reported to be now seriously considering The Swans’ bid.

Reading are also reported to have been weighing up a bid for the Holloway-born but it is understood that Yiadom would prefer a move to the English top tier.

Yiadom is capped three times by the Black Stars and debuted at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon this January.
