Sony Sugar whip Western Stima as Nakumatt win

Sony Sugar beat Western Stima 2-0 on Sunday at Awendo Green Stadium to compound the Powermen’s miseries this season.

The Henry Omino coached outfit went to the match with six losses and they were hopeful of returning to winning ways.

However, Sony Sugar proved stronger scoring one goal in either side to kill Western Stima’s match-day dream.

Marwa Chamberi scored in the 26th minute before Amos Asemebeka sealed the win in the 62nd minute to push Stima deep into the relegation zone.

Elsewhere at Ruaraka grounds, newbies Nakumatt edged out the experienced Chemelil Sugar by a 2-1 margin. Former AFC Leopards players Kepha Aswani and Eugene Ambulwa scored one goal apiece to reduce John Mwita’s strike to a mere consolation.
