Sony Sugar coach Salim Babu has singled out George Abege as one of the most outstanding player despite a 0-0 draw on Saturday.
The Sugar millers managed to pick a priceless point away from home after forcing Mathare United to a draw at Ruaraka grounds. Despite the missed chances by the visiting side, coach Babu has praised his striker for the display against the 'Slum Boys'.
“Abege did a splendid job in that match. He came close to scoring twice but unfortunately he could not finish the game due to injury. We created several chances which all went begging. I had to make some changes in the second half to add punch in our attack but clearly, it was not our day.”
Sony Sugar are now lying 14th on the 18-team league and only two points better than bottom placed Mathare United.
