The Bluebirds are without a single win since gaining promotion to the English top-flight and the defender is upbeat of a change in fortune

Sol Bamba is confident of Cardiff City turning their season around following their poor start in the Premier League.

Neil Warnock’s men are without a single win since they secured promotion to the elite division with two draws and five losses.

The unimpressive form leaves them 19th spot in the log with two points above Huddersfield Town who are at the base of the standings.

However, the defender inspired by last season’s performance is upbeat they can repeat the feat and continue their stay in the Premier League at the end of the season.

“The best example is last season - we went up when no one expected it and it is the same for this season," Bamba told BBC Sports.

"I'm a great believer that if you perform well the results will come and we did perform well. I'm sure that will turn around."

Bamba has made six appearances for Cardiff this term capping it with a goal. Next up, they play Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday.
