Otinya’s acquisition takes to five, the number of players signed by Nzoia Sugar so far

Sofapaka have lost Morven Otinya to Kenyan Premier League rivals, Nzoia Sugar.

Otinya moved to the Millers on a six-month deal, just half a year stay at Sofapaka following his move from Palos FC last June.

Palos has since been disbanded after the Kisumu County side pulled out of the National Super League citing lack of sufficient funds.

Otinya’s acquisition takes to five, the number of players signed by Nzoia Sugar so far.

Others are Dennis Wafula, Patrick Odhiambo, and David Okoth, and Tom Teka.

Sofapaka, however, filled the void by bringing in defender Jackson Saleh from Nakumatt, Moussa Omar from  Bugusera (Rwanda) and  Ibrahim Kitawi from Kariobangi Sharks.

Batoto Ba Mungu also signed former Ulinzi Stars striker, Stephen Waruru and Kepha Aswani from Nakumatt last December.

Sofapaka will open the 2018 season with a match against Sharks on February 4.
