Sofapaka midfielder Moses 'Dube' Odhiambo has played down reports that he is about to hang his boots.

The veteran midfielder has been in the game for more than a decade, turning out for Gor Mahia, Thika United among others. 'Dube' says he has a lot to offer on the pitch since he still has the energy to do it.

"I’m not about to retire, not now, not any time soon. Maybe in the next six years or so that is when I might consider hanging my boots, but with my current health and form, no. My body is in a good shape, and I have more to offer to the game, and that is why I am not in a hurry to retire.

"Main target is to help Sofapaka do well this season and avoid all the struggles we experienced last year,"he told Goal.

Batoto ba Mungu struggled to a 14th league finish last year but they have started the season well this time round managing seven points from the initial four matches.
