Real Madrid set to bid for Salah


Mohamed Salah's early-season success with Liverpool has led to interest from Real Madrid, OK Diario reports. 

Zinedine Zidane's men have misfired offensively this season and are looking for solutions in front of goal, with the Egypt star touted as a possibility after an explosive beginning to life at Anfield.

Madrid are aware that a deal during January will be complicated but are set to return in the summer.


Zidane certain Ronaldo will stay at Madrid

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is convinced Cristiano Ronaldo will stay put, despite recent speculation that the forward is unsettled at the Santiago Bernabeu,

"I cannot imagine a Real Madrid without Cristiano," he said ahead of the club's La Liga match at Celta Vigo on Sunday.

"He is a Madrid player and what he wants is to finish his career here. I do not see him playing anywhere else.”

'Keeping Kane will be difficult'

Tottenham may see their hand forced by Harry Kane at some stage if Real Madrid and Manchester United rumours persist, Christian Ziege has warned.

“He has the option to change [clubs] in the Premier League or if he wants to have experience away from the Premier League. At some stage, if he wants to move on, it will be difficult to keep him.”

James tells Mina to join Madrid

James Rodriguez has attempted to convince his countryman Yerry Mina to join Real Madrid instead of Barcelona, according to Don Balon ,

Mina is in talks with Barcelona over a move but the Bayern Munich midfielder, who is on loan from the Blancos, is trying to get Mina to change his mind.  

It appears that Rodriguez's pleas are falling on deaf ears, however, as Mina reportedly is still on the verge of signing with the Blaugrana.

Manchester United are ready to hijack Real Madrid's move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to Don Balon , via the Manchester Evening News

Kane is in high demand after establishing himself as one of Europe's best goalscorers, and the Red Devils have emerged as the main rivals for a potential Madrid bid. 

Chelsea and Manchester City are also reportedly interested in signing Kane, but Man Utd are seen as the biggest threat to Madrid.


Hazard rejects second contract offer

Eden Hazard has rejected Chelsea's second offer of a new contract, according to RMC .

The Belgium international's current deal runs through 2020, but the Blues are offering fresh terms to prevent Real Madrid from swooping for Hazard.

Antonio Conte is reportedly furious with Hazard's refusal to sign a new deal, which would have made the Belgian the highest-paid player in Chelsea's history. 


Inter to offer Icardi new deal

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio says the club could offer Mauro Icardi a new contract to fend off interest from Real Madrid.

Icardi signed a five-year contract at San Siro in October 2016, but his red-hot form could mean the Serie A side will have to offer another raise to keep him at San Siro. 

The Blancos are reportedly planning to trigger a €110 million release clause in the 24-year-old's contract this summer to seal his signature.

Kepa not given permission for Madrid medical

Athletic goalkeeper Kepa may have travelled to Real Madrid for a medical but if so, he was not given permission to do so. 

"I have no idea if he did a medical, I don't know what to tell you," Ziganda told reporters on Friday.

When asked whether Kepa had been given permission to have a medical at Madrid, Ziganda responded: "Of course he didn't."

PSG to include Cavani in Ronaldo bid


Paris Saint-Germain are willing to use Edinson Cavani as a makeweight in their bid to sign Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, claims El Confidencial .

Ronaldo’s long-term future at Madrid is uncertain as the current Ballon d’Or holder reportedly wants to be made the world’s best-paid player, if he is to sign a new contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Portuguese has long been a target for PSG, who would be keen to form a powerful attacking trident of Ronaldo, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

And, to help reduce the cost of the deal, along with persuading Madrid to sell Ronaldo, the French giants are prepared to include Cavani as part of their offer.


David Luiz offered to Madrid

David Luiz’s representatives have offered the Chelsea defender to Real Madrid, in addition to Barcelona, reports Mundo Deportivo .

The Brazil international is looking to leave Chelsea during the January transfer window, so that he can play regularly before the World Cup in Russia in the summer.

Barcelona have already twice turned down the chance to sign the centre-half, with Madrid also offered the opportunity of a deal. Arsenal have also been linked with a January approach for Luiz.

Kepa has agreed a six-year contract with Madrid and is keen for the transfer to be finalised now, rather than at the end of the season.

Alexis is desperate to leave Arsenal in the transfer window and wants to join Manchester City now, rather than wait to complete a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires.

A string of names has been mooted to replace the Chilean, with Madrid’s Vazquez now an option for Arsene Wenger, who feels the Spaniard has the qualities to compensate for Alexis’s departure.
