Goal asked you, the readers to predict who will win Saturday's Soweto Derby, and the majority have predicted a Pirates win

A majority of 44 percent of Goal readers believe that Orlando Pirates will beat Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday afternoon.

The Buccaneers are second on the log, one point ahead of Amakhosi and seven behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

They beat Chiefs in March 2017, and head into the encounter at the FNB Stadium brimming with confidence following their 4-2 win over Chippa United in Port Elizabeth last weekend.

And the majority of those who took part in our Twitter poll suggest that this is enough evidence of what to expect on the day.

While, Pirates have been scoring goals, they still have to get their combinations right at the back to avoid conceding goals. Bucs have conceded 20 goals from 22 league matches.

Chiefs on the other hand, have conceded 12, but they have lacked composure in the final third of the pitch having scored 19 times so far this season.

Only 35 percent of those polled on Twitter believe Chiefs stand a chance against Pirates, while no less than 21 percent of them expect another draw from both sides.

The numbers also leaned towards Pirates in our Facebook poll.
