“We are very disappointed and frustrated with the results! From the 10 draws that we got in the league, many of them happened here at Orlando,” Sredojevic told IOL.
Pirates were also held to a 0-0 draw by Tunisian giants Esperance at the Orlando Stadium in a Caf Champions League Group B match last month.
“We were supposed to win, but that didn’t happen. Also, the champions of Africa (Esperance) were almost on their knees here, and we were supposed to win (but we didn’t)," he continued.
However, Micho indicated that he is pleased with his charges' dedication with Bucs scheduled to host Zimbabwean champions Platinum at the Orlando Stadium in their penultimate Group B match on Friday.
“We are disappointed with the results but extremely happy with the dedication of the players," the Caf Coach of the Year nominee added.
Despite drawing with Celtic, Pirates climbed to the top of the league standings and Micho stated that they aim to win their remaining matches.
“We do not want to bring ourselves to a mental blockage, (saying) we need to win the seven remaining games (in the league),” Sredojevic said.
“On our bridge, we are talking about FC Platinum and Horoya Athletic Club, and it will be very nice to bring a South African team to the quarter-finals of the Champions League," he concluded.
The encounter between Pirates and Platinum will kick-off at 21h00.
