Alwanga, who starred for the club in the first leg, has endured a torrid two months that has seen him lose his scoring touch in the process missing two penalties against Vihiga United and Nakumatt.
Despite his recent slump he is confident that he will find the net against Zoo; a side that he stung twice in the 3-1 win at the Camp Toyoyo on June 2.
“I think I have just been unlucky because I have been doing everything right apart from scoring. Facing a side that I have scored against gives me confidence,” Alwanga told Mathare United website.
“I watched their match against Tusker (where they lost 1-0) and I believe I will score or provide an assist against them. I have also had a good week in training and hopefully I can carry that to the game.”
