Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz insists he will have the final say on his next career move after being linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2018-19, scoring 17 Bundesliga goals as he helped Leverkusen qualify for the Champions League.

Havertz scored his first international goal for Germany in Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Argentina and reports in Spain suggest La Liga heavyweights Madrid and Barcelona are interested in the player.

Lazaro doesn't want to leave Inter, says agent

Inter midfielder Valentino Lazaro has had a difficult start to life in Serie A since joining from Hertha Berlin in the summer.

The Austria international has made just one appearance for Antonio Conte's side and there is growing speculation that he wants to go back to Germany.

Scouting mission a clear sign he won't be fired

Despite a poor run of results it seems as though Tottenham will continue to back Mauricio Pochettino in the transfer market.

The Daily Mail says that chief scout Steve Hitchin has gone to Argentina to run the rule over players in the manager's homeland.

The paper says that club sources see that as a sign Pochettino will not be moved on.

There was speculation that Jose Mourinho was in position to take over in North London, but the scouting mission appears to have put paid to that notion.
