The Porcupine Warriors shot-stopper says they will defeat their fierce rivals to bring glory to 'Asanteman'

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has thanked the club's supporters for their unflinching support in the just-concluded Ghana Premier League campaign, assuring them victory in the FA Cup final against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors finished outside the top four with 43 points and need to defeat their rivals to pick the only slot to participate in the Caf Confederations Cup next season.

“We will be big disappointment to our supporters if we fail to defeat Hearts of Oak. This is because we have failed to pay back their unflinching support in the just-concluded Ghana Premier League campaign," Addo said.

“They spent quite a lot of money to come to the stadium and everywhere the team travels to, so this is a good opportunity for us to make them smile again. We know it will be a difficult game but mentally, we are prepared for it and we will fight hard to win the title. We can't spare Hearts again.”

He added: “They should keep believing and pray for us because we the players are putting in extra work to finish the season.

“We know it’s the last game of the season and we want to give the supporters good memories so that they will keep supporting us. We will definitely bring glory to Asanteman on Sunday.”

Kotoko, who are without any injury worries or suspensions, are expected to arrive in Tamale on Thursday.
