Kotoko announce 18-man squad for Caf Confederation Cup second leg

Ghana FA Cup champions Asante Kotoko have named an 18-man squad for the second leg of the 2018 Caf preliminary round against Congolese side CARA Brazzaville on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors go into the game with a slim advantage after a 1-0 victory at home thanks to Yakubu Mohammed's goal from the spot in additional time.

Ghana's U17 goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim made the squad alongside first-choice Felix Annan while new arrival Emmanuel Owusu, who joined from NEA Salamina as well as Seth Opare are part of the defence.

Steve Polack selected Sadick Adams, Yakubu Mohammed and Obed Owusu as the three strikers for the game but conspicuously missing from the list is box-to-box midfielder Seth Opare.

The winner on aggregate will meet the winner between Tunisian side Ben Guerdane and Al Hilal Juba of South Sudan.
