Kariobangi Sharks have appointed former Leicester Football Club Academy coach Abdullahi Farah as the club's Sports Director.

Farah, who started his coaching career in Finland with Helsinki Football Club before moving to English side Fulham Academy, will be charged with providing technical assistance and consultancy to the senior technical bench.

The new Sharks acquisition is a licensed UEFA-A coaching holder. Topped up with a solid background in sports science, Farah will also oversee development of holistic development of players by taking care of their physical as well as dietary needs.

Kariobangi Sharks finished third in their maiden season in Kenyan Premier League last season.
