ISL: Former Delhi Dynamos midfielder Matias Mirabaje joins Mumbai City FC

Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Mumbai City FC have roped in Uruguayan midfielder Matias Mirabaje ahead of the upcoming season, Goal can confirm. 

The 29-year-old plied his trade for Delhi Dynamos in the 2017-18 season where he made 12 appearances and scored three goals.

Delhi could only finish eighth in the table and Mirabaje was banned for four games during the season after an altercation with Mumbai City's Sehnaj Singh who incidentally is set to be his new teammate. 

Matias Mirabaje has represented Uruguay in the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2009. 

Mirabaje started his career with Racing Club de Montevideo before representing the likes of San Lorenzo (Argentina) and Brazil's Atletico Paranaense. It is to be noted that he won the Copa Libertadores and finished runners-up in the FIFA Club World Cup 2014 with San Lorenzo, losing to Real Madrid in the final. C
