FC Pune City’s pre-season preparations are on in full swing as the team conducted their first training session on Wednesday in Pune.
The Indian contingent of the squad arrived on the 18th of this month and after the medicals were conducted, the players have been put through the paces.
With Antonio Lopez Habas and FC Pune City parting ways as Goal had reported, the training sessions are being conducted under the supervision of Pradhyum Reddy, who serves as the Head of Football – Youth and assistant coach.

The foreign players are expected to join the training on October 1st.
FC Pune City will hope that this time around they break the jinx and make it into the knockout stages of the Indian Super League (ISL) for the very first time.
The Indian players in the team include the likes of Vishal Kaith, Lalchhuanmawia Fanai, Kean Lewis and others. They made some good foreign signings in last season’s Golden Boot winner Marcelinho, Marcos Tebar and Rafa Lopez being the notable ones.
