Indonesia's Bayu Pradana: "Indonesia won't underestimate Singapore"

Indonesia’s Bayu Pradana will not be underestimating Singapore when the two sides meet at Singapore’s National Stadium on Nov 9, in the AFF Suzuki Cup.

As one of eight members from the previous Indonesian AFF Squad, Bayu knows all too well the threat Singapore poses, even despite the notion that Tim Garuda seem to have the upper hand over the Lions in today’s context.

According to the midfielder it is because of the Lions’ height advantage especially of its attackers which has made him all the more cautious.

"We still respect Singapore, we must respect them. But of course we want maximum points there," Bayu told journalists after taking part in a training session on Tuesday (6/11).

"Singapore's strengths? Maybe one of it is their attackers who are tall and allows them to be dominant in air. That is their advantage," explained the player belonging to Mitra Kukar.
