FC Pune City are looking to further strengthen their attack as they are close to signing Dane Kelly, Goal can confirm.
The 26-year-old Jamaican will join the likes of Marcelinho and Emiliano Alfaro, two proven goal scorers in the Indian domestic circuit from last season.
Kelly is the all-time leading scorer in the United Soccer League (USL) with 52 goals to his name. He won the USL in 2012 with Charleston Battery and was named in the All-League First Team in 2014.

However, despite his impressive run of form, the forward hasn’t yet been called for the national team yet.
“"No, I haven’t heard anything. People keep talking, saying maybe I’ll get called up. Hopefully. Let’s see what happens."
"That’s something that I’ve wanted all along. It would mean a lot to be to represent my country. That would be an honor," he told Goal earlier this year.
