Hearts of Oak public relations officer Kwame Opare Addo has thrown light on the suspension of midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim.
The Phobians announced the punishment of the 22-year-old on Thursday, citing his offence as "multiple violation of contract".
Before the ldevelopment, he was rumoured to be pursuing a move away from the club following a speculated expiration of his contract.
“It’s true that Samudeen Ibrahim has been suspended indefinitely for multiple violation of player contract” Addo told Happy FM on Friday.
“We are doing this to deter others from doing so too. Samudeen has been missing from training for sometime now without seeking permission.

"It is not just about the training session that he has been missing. Samudeen has been misbehaving for while.
“Ignorantly people are saying Samudeen contract with Hearts of Oak has expired.
"How can we suspend a player that we don’t have a contract with?"
Samudeen joined the Phobians in 2016 on a three-year deal after being adjudged Best Player in Ghana's Second Division while on the books of King Solomon FC.
