Gor Mahia key player doubtful to face Azam in Cecafa semis

Gor Mahia FC might miss the services of midfielder Ernest Wendo against Azam.

The two teams will be facing each other in the Cecafa Kagame Cup semis hoping to claim the win that will see them grace the final on Saturday.

Coach Dylan Kerr has however, said the team is ready for the match with an aim of winning it. "We are ready for this match, everyone is okay apart from Wendo, Ernest, who missed yesterday's (Tuesday), training. We will have to asses him later on to determine whether he is fit to play or not.

"It is a semi-final match, meaning it will be tough, but my players are definitely up to the task,” Kerr told Goal.

Gor Mahia has not lost any match in the regional competition this campaign.
