Ghana's Agyepong suffers injury relapse in Hibernian's stalemate with Dundee United

Hibernian coach Neil Lennon has confirmed that Ghana midfielder Thomas Agyepong suffered a fresh injury during their 2-2 stalemate against Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.

The 22-year-old, who recently made an injury return, replaced Jamie Maclaren by the 60th minute but lasted only twenty seven minutes on the field before he hobbled off after a rush tackle  from a Dundee player.

Agyepong was replaced by Scottish youngster James Gullan.

"Thomas is having a terrible time with injuries," Lennon said, as quoted by The Scottish Sun.

"I don’t know what the prognosis is at the minute, but it is very frustrating because of his talent. We hope he won't miss too many matches as a result of this injury," he added.

Agyepong, who is on loan from Premier League champions Manchester City, has made five league appearances and scored one goal this term for Hibernian.
