Baroka FC have reportedly snapped up the signature of former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Lucky Nguzana ahead of the 2017/2018 Premier Soccer League (PSL) campaign.

Bakgaga have been on a mission to bolster their squad after surviving the past season’s promotion/relegation playoffs, and have already landed several quality signings. However, after losing the likes of Maboke Matlakala to Platinum Stars, Baroka have roped in the 26-year-old’s services.

Last year Nguzana signed for Turkish second division club Umraniyespor but ended up cutting his stint short and returned to South Africa to re-join FC Cape Town. The former Sundowns youth player has been a notable journeyman, having had stints at Dikwena and Amazulu in the past.

Nonetheless, Nguzana has been training with the Limpopo side as he looks to revive his career and is believed to have impressed the technical team.
