Ezekiel Odera returned to AFC Leopards squad with a goal to help Ingwe book a place in the FKF Shield semis after a 4-1 victory over Kenya Police on Saturday.

Odera missed Leopards' last two games owing to suspension but needed only 33 minutes on the pitch to double the defending champions' lead. The victors took the lead through Whyvonne Isuza in the 22nd minute before Baker Lukooya teed up Odera with a lovely cross 11 minutes later.

Ingwe could have tripled their lead with only four minutes left on the clock to the break, but Eugene Mukangula's cheeky lob over the keeper landed on roof of the net.

But Mukangula made up for his mistake when the former Thika United midfielder hit a third of the day after beating a disjointed Police defence to score. Despite enjoying a 3-0 lead, Ingwe came back in the second half even hungrier for more goals.

Brian Marita made it 4-0 after he connected a well-delivered cross by Isuza. Substitute Saad Musa lost a penalty just moments after Police fired one back, but Ingwe held on to the victory.

Ulinzi Stars also booked their place in the semis after going past a hapless Riverpaltes following a 4-1 victory at the Bukhungu Stadium in an early kickoff.

Ingwe will now face the winner between Tusker and Sofapaka with Ulinzi Stars taking on the victor between Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks.

AFC Leopards Starting XI: Ezekiel Owade, Dennis Sikhayi, Baker Lukooya, Michael Kibwage , Duncan Otieno, Tsuma Said, Brian Marita, Victor Majid, Ezekiel Odera, Whyvonne Isuzza and Eugene Mukangula.
