Feirense's Etebo unfazed by Benfica loss

Oghenekaro Etebo is unruffled by Feirense’s 1-0 defeat to Benfica in a Portuguese Primeira Liga encounter at Estádio da Luz on Friday evening.

The forward made his tenth appearance for Nuno Manta’s side this term in the outing but could not save them from the loss.

Jonas scored the all-important goal 11 minutes after kick-off to mark his 12th league goal of the season, and ultimately hand the hosts maximum points.

Etebo who featured from start to finish in the encounter has registered three goals this season for his side.

The 21-year-old took to the social media to express his readiness for the next game against Marítimo on November 5 while urging that the loss be put behind them.

“Great game tonight. We shouldn't mind the loss. Looking forward to the next game boys,” Etebo wrote on Instagram.

With the result, Feirense are placed in the 9th spot on the log with 11 points from 10 matches.
