EXTRA TIME: Orphans in Malawi rejoice after receiving Sadio Mane's Liverpool jerseys

The Senegalese star's gesture has put smiles on kids' faces in the Southeastern region of Africa

Children at the Friends of Mulanje Orphans Daycare Centre in Malawi have received over 100 Liverpool jerseys sent to them by Sadio Mane.

After receiving the no. 10 jersey at the beginning of the season, the 26-year-old donated kits with his former no. 19 to the African country through KitAid - a charity that helps the needy with soccer gear.

And the orphans, after receiving them, were in high spirits to wear and play football with the shirts.

Meanwhile, Mane has resumed training with the Reds ahead of their Uefa Champions League meeting against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday.

The forward missed his side's 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday after undergoing a hand surgery to fix the the thumb he broke while on international duty with Senegal.
