Asante Kotoko striker Sadick Adams has auctioned the jersey he wore to help the Kumasi giants defeat Hearts of Oak 3-1 in the final of 2017 FA Cup at the Tamale Sports Stadium in October.

The 28-year-old scored a hat-trick within the first-half of the game to end the club's run without a major trophy.

The jersey was bought by Nana Mensah Bonsu, the chief of Kaase which is a suburb of Kumasi at a price of $890 during a ceremony held on Saturday by Asante Kotoko supporters.

The victory also handed Kotoko the ticket to participate in the 2018 Caf Confederations Cup and will face Congo Brazzaville giants CARA in the preliminary round in February.

Goal understands that Sadick will also auction the boots he wore and the ball that was given to him after the game to raise funds for his humanitarian projects.
