EXTRA TIME: How Twitter reacted to Untersee selecting Bafana
Untersee is still young so he's loaned out in Serie B at Empoli. It's no shame that he can't break into one of the best defensive outfits in the world, Juventus, a team that reached the Uefa Champions League final last season.
The team dominating the Serie A for years now, take on Tottenham in a crucial Last 16 encounter on Wednesday night. Juve drew 2-2 at home, so they got to get through the hard way.
Otherwise Untersee's a long way from considering himself a Juventus player on the field. Can he do that eventually and is he better than what Bafana Bafana already got in their defensive line-up?
We will have to wait and see.
I think Joel Untersee will do well for Bafana Bafana

Baxter: “I’m hoping that once he (Untersee) gets acclimatised and we get used to him, then he’ll be a useful addition to the players that we have at our disposal.”

Good news for Joel Untersee to join the South Africa squad soon, but we have to be careful @BafanaBafana because playing in the lower leagues in Italy doesn't mean you're better than defenders in PSL. Even though he's owned by Juventus, he was on loan at Brescia and now Empoli.
