Everton manager Marco Silva has provided an injury update on Idrissa Gueye and Ademola Lookman ahead of their Premier League encounter with Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Gueye suffered a knee injury in their 2-2 stalemate with Bournemouth, although he managed to complete the game.
Meanwhile, Lookman has not made a single appearance for the Goodison Park outfit this season owing to a groin injury.
On Wednesday, both players were not involved as the Toffees qualified for the third round of the League Cup, knocking out Championship side Rotherham United.
And ahead of their tie with David Wagner’s men, Silva has confirmed that Gueye could miss the clash while Lookman is fit.
“It is possible he [Idrissa Gueye] won’t be available for the match,” Silva said in a pre-match conference.
“If I have all the players available for the match to take a decision will be better for us.
“With all of them available for the match we are stronger for sure but with the players available we have to take a decision starting with the first eleven and I have confidence in all of them.
“Ademola Lookman is fit and he is training with the team,” he concluded.
