Bechem United chief executive officer Nana Akwesi Darlyn is optimistic of surviving relegation in the Ghana Premier League ahead of their home game against Great Olympics on Sunday.

The Brong Ahafo-based club and their visitors need victory to avoid relegation. In the event of a stalemate they would have to wait for results from other games to know their fate.

Bechem sit 13th on the log with 38 points, two above Great Olympics.

"We'll defeat Great Olympics anywhere and anytime that we meet. They can even decide the game must be played at the doorsteps of Ghana FA and they will lose," Darlyn told Goal.

"We will not intimidate them but will win free and fair because we have a better team than them. Even in the first round of the season, we defeated them at their backyard in Accra, so why must we be afraid of them?

"The game will be live on the screens and we're even happy that millions of people will witness how excellent our players are after the game. Agents and scouts can even watch us and I promise them that they'll not get disappointed," he added.

Olympics have been relegated three times in the last decade, while Bechem are yet to taste relegation after qualifying to the top-flight in 2011.
