The Bundesliga giants continued their impressive start to the season as they put three past Stuttgart in their second game of the league campaign

Bayern Munich broke more Bundesliga records in their 3-0 win over Stuttgart, with Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski reaching personal milestones.

It was another typical Bayern performance, with relative new boy Leon Goretzka opening the scoring in the first half to help the Bavarians to their second win in as many games.

With the victory, FCB have become the first side in the Bundesliga to win their first two games in four consecutive seasons.

Similarly, in bagging the second of the night, Lewandowski became the first player to score on the first two matchdays in the German top flight in four consecutive seasons.

Thomas Muller later added a third to wrap up proceedings against a lacklustre Stuttgart side.

Indeed, Saturday's opponents have a dreadful home record against Bayern, with Niko Kovac's side becoming the first to record 10 successive away victories against a specific opponent.

With Kingsley Coman out injured, veteran wingers Arjen Robben and Ribery made the starting XI, and the Frenchman went home with a personal prize.

The 35-year-old set a new Bundesliga record by winning 184 of his first 250 Bundesliga games. No other player has reached that mark quicker than the Frenchman.

Bayern are next in action at the Allianz Arena against Bayer Leverkusen on September 15 after the completion of the upcoming international break.
