Ulinzi Stars Coach Dunstan Nyaudo has plans of strengthening his squad ahead of the new season.

Nyaudo, who was voted the 2018 Kenyan Premier League second best coach after Gor Mahia’s Dylan Kerr says that he was impressed by his performance in his first season with the Soldiers, whom he guided to a fourth-place finish last campaign.

Ulinzi Stars lifted four awards during the gala staged on Thursday and Nyaudo now believe that the recognition will propel his charges to work even harder in the forthcoming season set to kick off on December 8.

“I am happy for all the awards we got and this being my first season, I’d say we have had a good start and that is a sign of things to come.

“We had a fairly good season; we managed to clinch a few awards at the gala, now we want to make it better next season,” Nyaudo was quoted by the club official website.

The former Ulinzi Stars U-19 and Water Works tactician added: “We are making early plans for the coming season and we will have a few new signings based on performance as we strengthen the team and also rectify last season’s shortcomings.”
