Ghana attacker Albert Adomah will be missing in action when his Aston Villa side play away to Queens Park Rangers in the English Championship on Friday.
The winger failed to make a quick recovery from an injury picked up during Saturday's 1-0 triumph over Swansea City.
English striker Tammy Abraham, who like Adomah was substituted in that game due to injury, is, however, available to face The Hoops.
“Tammy is available. He recovered yesterday and trained today," Villa boss Dean Smith said.
“Albert won’t be. He hasn’t been able to get out on the training field yet from having the knock on his knee. We will be without him.
“But that gives Yannick [Bolasie] the chance to come back into the squad.
"I didn’t think he made enough of an impact and I told him that on Saturday.
“He’s worked hard this week and had a really good training session yesterday and today so he will be available for selection."
Adomah only seems to be finding his way back into Villa's first team after a poor start to the season.
Still chasing his first goal of the campaign, the 30-year-old has made 12 league appearances involving seven starts so far.
Last term, he registered 14 strikes in 42 Championship games involving 37 starts, finishing the year as the club's top scorer.
His disappointing season start drew him close to a Villa exit during the summer transfer window.
