Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka FC has relieved of Team Manager Willis Waliaula his duties.

This comes less than 24 hours after head coach Sam Ssimbwa threw in the towel following sabotage claims.

A source within Batoto ba Mungu has also intimated to Goal that the club is on the verge of finding another coach to take Ssimbwa's position. “Yes, Waliaula is no longer our team manager; it is a role that has been assigned to Echesa (Hillary).

“It was a decision that was reached by the management to bring harmony to the team. There have been some differences between the technical bench and the players.

“Baraza (John) remains our coach for now, but plans are in the pipeline to bring in an experienced tactician.”

Batoto ba Mungu are currently fourth on the log with sixteen points.
