Al Faisaly announce two-year deal for Cosmos Dauda

Hearts of Oak former striker Cosmos Dauda has completed a two-year deal with Jordanian champions Al Faisaly, the club have confirmed.

The 24-year-old had a two-week trial after he was released by the Ghana Premier League side and impressed head coach Nebojsa Jovovic, according to reports.

Dauda scored in the first friendly game with Faisaly and provided assist in the second match.

"We're happy to announce that Ghanaian striker Cosmos Dauda has joined us after spending some time here," a club's statement read.

"We wish him a successful stay and hope he helps his teammates and the club to continue to achieve lots of things," the statement added.

Dauda took to his Twitter account to express his delight after he was unveiled to the media and supporters.

 

Al Faisaly reached the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League last season.
