Aissata Traore scored as her Besiktas team trounced Karadeniz Ereglispor 5-0 in Sunday's Turkish Bayanlar Ligi encounter at Fulya Hakkı Yeten Tesisleri.
Prior to the contest, the Black and Whites were aiming to maintain their title pursuit and they managed to hammer their visitors to keep their quest on course.
Esra Erol scored twice to hand the hosts a 2-0 first-half lead before Traore's goal plus strikes from Gizem Gonultas and Arzu Karabulut guaranteed their big win in Istanbul.
The Malian midfielder has now scored five goals and three assists in seven appearances for the Turkish topflight giants.
The win keeps Besiktas firmly in the race for the title with 39 points from 17 games - tied on points with leaders ALG Spor and third-placed Konak Belediyespor but separated on goals difference.
Besiktas will aim to secure the league diadem on the final day when they face Kirecburnu in their last fixture on April 27.
