Adebisi targets NWPL Super Four glory with Delta Queens

Nigeria U20 women forward Amerat Adebisi has set her sights on winning the Nigeria Women Premier League title with Delta Queens in Benin.

Her 33rd-minute strike handed the Kwale based side the lead before Rosemary Okezie made it 2-0 as they defeated Rivers Angels at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Monday.

And she was delighted with her form and experience from playing in the Falconets, and has vowed to make more impact in her side's diadem pursuit.

"I'm so happy scoring and I will commend my teammates for their performance in the win against Rivers Angels," Adebisi told Goal.

"We came with so much determination and worked very hard to win the match. It was not an easy game for us but we fought hard to beat them.

"Personally, I'm happy with my progress. The exposure and experience I acquired being with the Falconets were important for me.

"My training and playing in the U20 Women's World Cup qualifier has really helped me so well and got me the chance to play for Delta Queens despite there are better than me in the team.

"I'm here to prove my worth and help my team to win the title. I believe it is possible because we have started well and we won't relent until we get to the final and win it."
