Burnley are next in action next week in the Premier League against Aston Villa at Turf Moor. Watford are on the road to Crystal Palace in their next game.
Burnley staged a dramatic comeback in the final seven minutes to secure a huge result in their bid to remain in the Premier League, defeating Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road. An own goal from James Tarkowski had put the home side ahead, but they wasted several opportunities to extend their advantage. The Clarets were dominant in the second half, but were also lacking a clinical edge in front of goal. However, two goals in three minutes from Jack Cork and Josh Brownhill secured a massive three points for the visitors, and a third win on the bounce in the top flight. Burnley are now five points clear of Everton with four games to play, while Watford are on the brink of relegation after their late collapse.

Roy Hodgson's men have carried a threat in the final third through Emmanuel Dennis, Joao Pedro and Ismaila Sarr. However, the job is only half done, and the home side will need another strong effort to give themselves a glimmer of hope in the relegation battle.
Watford hold a 1-0 lead at the break over Burnley in their must-win Premier League clash at Vicarage Road. The Hornets took the lead when Juraj Kucka's strike hit the bar and hit James Tarkowski's knee to cross the line. The Clarets believed that they had a way back into the game when they were awarded a penalty, but it was overturned by VAR. Matej Vydra had their best opening of the half, but he fired wide of the target. The visitors need to improve in the second half to get a positive result to keep their survival push going.

After winning their first Premier League home game against Burnley in February 2017, Watford are winless in their last three against the Clarets at Vicarage Road (D1 L2).
Burnley have made one change to their side from their win over Wolves last time out. Rodriguez misses out with a late injury, which sees Vydra come back into the side having initially being left out for Lennon.
Hodgson has made three changes to his side from their defeat to City last time out. Femenia comes into the side at right-back to replace Ngakia, who drops to the bench. Kucka is restored to the middle of the park for Tom Cleverley, while Joao Pedro replaces King, who also starts the game on the sideline.

When Burnley sacked Sean Dyche eyebrows were raised, but caretaker boss Michael Jackson has provided a huge shot in the arm to their hopes of remaining in the Premier League. Burnley have taken seven points out of a possible nine since Dyche was sacked, including back-to-back wins over Southampton and Wolves. A third win in a row would take them five points clear of Everton, piling the pressure on Frank Lampard and the Toffees. The contest this afternoon could make or break their campaign.
It is crunch time for Watford now in their battle to avoid relegation. The Hornets simply to have to win today to close the gap to six points to the Clarets in the battle to remain in the Premier League. Roy Hodgson's men have lost their last four matches on the bounce, including their 5-1 hammering at Manchester City last week. A win is imperative, while a defeat would effectively end their Premier League tenure after one season. Hodgson and his team are under immense pressure this afternoon.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Watford and Burnley at Vicarage Road.
