Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Leicester are next in action against Legia Warsaw in the Europa League on Thursday on the road. Burnley face a crunch clash at the bottom of the Premier League against Norwich at home next week.
Jamie Vardy's late equaliser earned a share of the spoils for Leicester City in their Premier League clash against Burnley at the King Power Stadium. An own goal from Vardy put the visitors ahead before he netted at the right end to notch an equaliser for the Foxes. However, Maxwel Cornet restored Burnley's advantage before the break with a stunner to open his account in the top flight. Leicester battled throughout the second half and got a deserved leveller through Vardy with a composed finish. There was almost another twist in the tale when Chris Wood headed home late on for the Clarets, but they were denied their first win of the Premier League campaign by VAR.

Iheanacho releases the forward into space down the left flank and Pope makes an early decision to rush out. It is a mistake from the Burnley keeper as the forward rounds him with ease before slotting a strike into an empty net. It had been coming and the Foxes get their reward.

An own goal from Jamie Vardy put the visitors ahead before Vardy then scored at the right end to bring the Foxes level. However. 1' We're under way at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester are unbeaten in their last 10 home league games against Burnley (W6 D4) since a 1-0 loss in the Championship in November 2007.
Despite scoring four goals during the week there is no place for Rodriguez in the Burnley squad. Dyche too reverts to his Premier League line-up, making two changes to the side that was beaten last week by Arsenal. Vydra comes into the final third to replace Barnes, while Cornet starts in place of Gudmundsson. Both Barnes and Gudmundsson drop to the bench.
Rodgers rung the changes during the week for their EFL Cup clash against Milwall, but has returned to a familiar Premier League line-up today. There is one change to the side that was beaten by Brighton last time out as Lookman gets the call to start ahead of Maddison in the final third, who drops to the bench.
BURNLEY SUBS: Jack Cork, Johann Gudmundsson, Ashley Barnes, Wayne Hennessey, Aaron Lennon, Nathan Collins, Erik Pieters, Phil Bardsley, Bobby Thomas.
BURNLEY (4-4-2): Nick Pope; Matt Lowton, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor; Dwight McNeil, Ashley Westwood, Josh Brownhill, Maxwel Cornet; Matej Vydra, Chris Wood.
LEICESTER CITY SUBS: Jonny Evans, James Maddison, Marc Albrighton, Danny Ward, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ayoze Perez, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Timothy Castagen, Patson Daka.
LEICESTER CITY (4-3-3): Kasper Schmeichel; Ricardo Pereira, Caglar Soyuncu, Jannik Vestergaard, Ryan Bertrand; Youri Tielemans, Wilfred Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare; Ademola Lookman, Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes.
Burnley also advanced to the fourth round of the EFL Cup, stopping a three-game winless run in the process. The Clarets went behind to League Two Rochdale before Jay Rodriguez scored four goals to send Sean Dyche's men through. Burnley have only taken one point from their opening five games of the Premier League campaign. They have been slow-starters in the past, but need to kick into gear to prevent slipping into an early battle for survival.
Leicester secured an important win during the week in the EFL Cup to end a three-match winless run in all competitions. The Foxes overcame Millwall on the road to advance into the fourth round of the competition courtesy of goals from Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho. Brendan Rodgers' men needed the momentum boost after losing back-to-back matches in the league to Manchester City and Brighton and Hove Albion, while they also surrendered a two-goal lead against Napoli in the Europa League. They need to maintain their cup form against the Clarets today.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and Burnley at the King Power Stadium.
