Commentary

Thanks for joining us for this coverage of Leicester City's 2-1 victory over Brentford in the Premier League.
The victory on their travels means that Leicester move up to ninth in the table as they move onto 14 points. They will host Arsenal next as they look to continue to move up the table. Meanwhile for the hosts, they drop to 12th as they lose a second consecutive match. They travel to Burnley next as they look to end this run of defeats.
And so it finishes 2-1 to Leicester! The visitors get a big three points to take back home as Maddison secures the victory. They took the lead in the first half after Tielemans scored a brilliant long-range effort but were pegged back in the second after Zanka scored a header from a Jensen corner to equalise. The win was sealed though after a quick counter led to Daka squaring it to Maddison before the midfielder finished into an empty net, and the Foxes held firm in the remainder of the game.

88' Brentford put a couple of balls into the box but so far Leicester's defence has remained resolute. This time it's Evans who heads it clear.
86' Perez required some treatment after he collided with Raya for that opportunity, but he is back up now.
84' Tielemans plays in Perez but Raya is alert to race off his line and clear.
82' Iheanacho shoots from distance but his left-footed effort flies harmlessly over Raya's goal.

P. Daka
J. Vardy

Frank will be desperate to see his side get back into the game. Will he make a change at the break to help them do that? Rodgers will be delighted to see his team in front despite not playing very well, and will hope to see this game out for a big three points.
And so the first-half finishes with the scoreline 1-0 to the visitors. After surviving some early pressure from the hosts, the Foxes took the lead after 14 minutes when Tielemans sent a delightful effort from distance flying past Raya to put his side in front. Frank's team looked the more likely to score after that though, and Toney perhaps should've done better with a header that Schmeichel pushed over. Mbeumo also had a couple of moments, but ultimately it's Leicester who lead at the break.
45' + 3' HALF-TIME: BRENTFORD 0-1 LEICESTER CITY
45' + 1' Iheanacho tries to flick a long ball over Raya but the keeper does well to snuff it out.
44' The Bees try and get level before half-time but miscommunication causes Zanka to put the ball out for a goal kick.
42' Onyeka goes down injured after Soyuncu brings him down in the midfield. After some brief treatment, the midfielder is back up and playing.
40' The visitors have the second best shot conversion rate (13.5%) in the Premier League this season. They have had two shots so far today and lead 1-0.
38' The Foxes have a bit of pressure of their own, but it comes to nothing after Iheanacho sends a poor cross flying over.
36' It should be 1-1! Toney heads an Onyeka cross at goal, but Schmeichel makes a good save to push it away for a corner.
34' It's been a positive reaction to going behind from Frank's men, and they look the more likely to grab the second goal of this match.
32' Both of the hosts' Premier League defeats this season have come at home, against Brighton and then Chelsea.
M. Jørgensen

20' Mbeumo sends a tame effort at Schmeichel's goal which the Danish goalkeeper easily saves.
18' The hosts try and hit back immediately but Henry just gets too much on his cross and it goes behind for a goal-kick.
16' Leicester have won their last five away matches at Brentford.
Y. Tielemans
Goal
14' It's 1-0 to the visitors! Maddison sends the free-kick into the box but it's headed out by Pinnock to Tielemans outside the area, and the Belgian sends a sensational effort into the back of the net from 25 yards out.
13' Pereira is bundled over by Henry and it'll be a free-kick to the visitors.
11' The hosts haven't beaten the Foxes in their last seven attempts, with the last victory coming all the way back in 1953.
9' Mbeumo sends an effort wide after some good link-up play with Toney. The Frenchman strides into the box and lets fly but it goes wide of Schmeichel's right post.
7' Brentford have a goal disallowed! Henry cuts in and crosses it to Toney who finishes but he is ruled to have been offside when he did so, and it remains 0-0.
6' The hosts have certainly started this game the better out of the two sides. This time it's Jensen who sends a cross over but Toney just can't reach it and it goes behind.
4' The Bees think they should have a penalty after Jansson is wiped out by Schmeichel as he heads over the bar. The referee disagrees though and we are back underway.
2' Schmeichel makes a big early save to deny Norgaard as he tried an acrobatic volley after a long throw.
1' The hosts kick us off and we are underway.
