Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game! Until next time, goodbye.
Bayern travel to face RB Leipzig next, while Hertha host Bochum.
There goes the final whistle! Bayern put on a five-star performance and Lewandowski helped himself to a hat-trick as Hertha lost their third successive Bundesliga match. Muller put the finishing touch on a slick team move after six minutes and Lewandowski doubled the lead later in the first half with a header after hitting the bar. Musiala curled in a sumptuous third shortly after the break and Lewandowski scored a tap-in and another header to round off the scoring. It finishes 5-0 to Bayern!
89' OVER! Richter cuts inside from the left and into the box before striking at goal, but he gets just underneath it and it flies agonisingly over the crossbar!
87' Lewandowski scored at least four goals in a game for only the second time in his Bundesliga career in Munich's 4-3 win against Hertha last season (previously five in a 5-1-win against Wolfsburg in September 2015). He has four minutes and stoppage time to repeat the feat.
85' NO GOAL! Hertha think they've got a consolation a minute after the restart, but Belfodil is flagged offside after running in behind from Tousart's pass and slotting past Neuer.
T. Nianzou
84' Nianzou, off the bench to replace Upamecano at half-time, did well to steer his header into a dangerous area for Lewandowski to attack.
R. Lewandowski
84' GOAL!!! IT'S A HAT-TRICK FOR LEWANDOWSKI!!! Kimmich floats a corner to the back post and Nianzou heads it goalwards. Schwolow comes out to meet it but Lewandowski gets there first and powers a header into the back of the net! It's 5-0 to Bayern!
B. Sarr
J. Stanišić
81' Young full-back Stanisic is also replaced, with Sarr getting a few minutes in his place at right-back.
E. Choupo-Moting
T. Müller
81' Muller is applauded by the home fans as Nagelsmann takes him off, with Choupo-Moting coming on to replace him in support of Lewandowski.
V. Darida
S. Serdar
78' It's a fifth change for Hertha in the closing stages of the game as Serdar goes off for Darida.
76' OVER! Muller hits the byline down the left and stands a cross up to the edge of the box. It's just over Lewandowski but Coman meets it on the volley with his left. However, he can only send it way over the bar.
74' SAVE! Kimmich sends a corner in from the right and Goretzka rises highest to meet it, but his header towards the bottom-left corner is palmed out by a diving Schwolow! Great save!
72' Nagelsmann is on the verge of going unbeaten in 12 Bundesliga games against Hertha. No other current Bundesliga coach has faced an opponent more often in the top-flight without losing - Nagelsmann himself is second with 11 games unbeaten against Augsburg.
L. Sané
70' Sane's sharp movement orchestrated that goal. He shrugged off his marker and combined neatly with Muller, passing and moving too quickly for the Hertha defence to adjust.
R. Lewandowski
70' GOAL!!! LEWANDOWSKI SCORES AGAIN!!! Bayern carve their way through Hertha with ease once more. Sane drifts in off the left to combine with Muller, playing a one-two and receiving on the left of the six-yard box before squaring to Lewandowski for a tap-in! It's 4-0 to Bayern now!
K. Coman
S. Gnabry
67' Nagelsmann makes another change in the wide areas, this time replacing Gnabry with Coman.
64' Those changes have disrupted the flow of the game somewhat, leading to a quiet few minutes with no real goalmouth action.
L. Sané
J. Musiala
61' Nagelsmann makes a change of his own, bringing Musiala off for Sane. The youngster heads off to warm applause from the home fans.
I. Belfodil
D. Lukébakio
61' Dardai uses the opportunity to make a triple substitution with Lukebakio the second player to be replaced. Belfodil comes on in his stead.
M. Richter
D. Zeefuik
61' Substitution Deyovaisio Zeefuik Marco Richter
L. Klünter
D. Selke
60' Zeefuik, who was robbed in the build-up to Bayern's third goal, is also substituted, with Klunter taking his place.
58' Selke has gone down after a tussle with Nianzou. The free-kick actually goes Bayern's way, but the Hertha striker seems to have hurt himself and is receiving treatment.
56' Despite slowing the pace of their approach play, Bayern are still looking threatening with neat interchanges around the box.
54' Bayern have just started to lower their intensity a little. They are in a comfortable position and can start to manage their fitness as they dominate the ball and probe a little more patiently.
52' BLOCK! Lewandowski is found just inside the box on the left and he skips inside two before slamming an effort back towards the near post, but it's blocked away! Muller was making a run into space on the right, but Lewandowski only had eyes for goal there.
T. Müller
49' Muller's hard work off the ball punished Zeefuik for dallying in possession and the German demonstrated his vision as he picked Musiala out in a promising position.
J. Musiala
49' GOAL!!! MUSIALA MAKES IT THREE!!! Muller presses high and wins the ball from Zeefuik out wide before passing it inside to Musiala on the left side of the box. The youngster's first touch looks to be a little heavy but he then feints before cutting inside and curling an emphatic strike into the far corner! It's 3-0 to Bayern!
46' The referee gets us back underway for the second half!
T. Nianzou
D. Upamecano
46' Upamecano is forced off at the break, possibly due to an injury, and Nianzou takes his place alongside Sule in defence.
Nagelsmann is unlikely to have too many complaints after that first half. Bayern were slick and fluid in attack and pressed high and hard out of possession. Dardai, meanwhile, will need his side to wake up and show a little more spirit in the second half. They may not be able to match Bayern in class and quality, but there have been times when Hertha have seemed to be simply going through the motions.
There goes the half-time whistle! Bayern have been utterly dominant and opened the scoring with an outstanding team goal that Muller finished off after Lewandowski dummied Davies' pass, before doubling their lead through the Polish striker who headed against the bar but reacted first to nod the rebound over the line. The hosts have created plenty of chances and could be even further ahead. It's 2-0 to Bayern at the break!
45' + 3' Gnabry swings a terrific cross to the back post after Suke's shot is blocked, but it's just over Muller and Lewandowski can't get to it despite sliding in.
45' + 1' There will be four minutes added on at the end of the first half. Time for Bayern to grab a third, perhaps.
44' Thankfully, Schwolow appears to be fine after being seen to by the medical staff and is okay to continue.
42' A Bayern corner comes in and there's a clash between Schwolow and Boyata as the goalkeeper came out to punch. The pair have stayed down but Schwolow appears to have come off worse and needs some treatment.
40' CHANCE! Bayern nearly produce another beautiful team goal! Davies passes it infield and Lewandowski drops off before sliding a terrific ball through for Gnabry, who draws the goalkeeper out and squares to Muller, only for Boyata to slide in and clear!
38' Bayern are definitely not done here. They are immediately back on the front foot, searching for a third goal.
36' Lewandowski has now scored in each of his last 13 Bundesliga games, breaking his personal record from the 2012-13 season whilst playing for Borussia Dortmund. Only Gerd Muller managed a longer scoring streak in Bundesliga history (16 games in 1969-70).
R. Lewandowski
35' GOAL!!! LEWANDOWSKI DOUBLES BAYERN'S LEAD!! Gnabry is fed on the right and he cuts back inside before curling a cross onto the head of Lewandowski, who powers a header against the bar before pouncing on the rebound and nodding in from close range! The flag initially goes up for offside, but a VAR review shows that there was no infringement and the goal is allowed to stand! It's 2-0 to Bayern now!
32' Bayern are in complete control here. They're dominating the ball and their high press is making it very difficult for Hertha to keep possession on the rare occasions they have it.
30' Lukebakio swings a corner in for Hertha and Selke rises highest, but he can only clip the ball with the top of his head and it bounces behind for a goal-kick.
28' The home fans are furious as Boyata slides in on Musiala and no foul is given. The defender looks like he caught the teenager, but play is waved on.
26' CLOSE! Kimmich takes another inswinging corner from the left and this time it's a good delivery. Goretzka meets it powerfully at the back post, but his header flies just wide of the top-right corner!
24' BLOCK! Bayern work it smoothly down the right and Gnabry passes back to Stanisic, who slides it into Goretzka just inside the area, but the midfielder's first-time shot is deflected and bounces wide!
21' SAVE! Serdar knocks the ball over the Bayern defence for Tousart, who takes it on the volley from just inside the box, but he doesn't connect cleanly and Neuer is able to make the save!
J. Dilrosun
S. Jovetić
20' That injury to Jovetic forces Dardai into an early change and he brings Dilrosun on to replace the forward.
18' Jovetic came back out after being treated but he has sat back on the turf again and it doesn't look good for the forward. A change will have to be made.
16' Jovetic has gone down off the ball and is being seen to by the medical staff. It is not clear if he will be able to continue or not.
14' Hertha try to play out from the back but Bayern press high and force an aimless long ball that turns possession back over to them. The hosts are working hard off the ball to prevent their opponents from having time and space.
12' Zeefuik turns a Davies cross behind for a corner and Kimmich takes it from the left, but it's a rare poor delivery from him that sails behind for a goal-kick.
10' Hertha seem to have been going through the motions somewhat in the opening 10 minutes of this contest. They've been passive and, even when they have had shooting opportunities, haven't looked like scoring.
8' Hertha look to respond to going behind as Serdar turns away from his marker on the right before having ago at goal, but the strike lacks power and is an easy take for Neuer.
A. Davies
6' Davies did well to lift his chin and pick a pass on the edge of the box rather than taking a speculative shot on himself. The ball was intended for Lewandowski, but the striker's dummy to Muller was terrific.
T. Müller
6' GOAL!!! WHAT A GOAL TO GIVE BAYERN THE LEAD!!! Gnabry dances past the challenges of two or three players before sending the ball forward to Musiala, who flicks it on for Davies. The Canadian twists and turns on the edge of the box before sliding a pass towards Lewandowski, who is free on the right. The striker dummies the pass, however, allowing it to run for Muller behind him and the German fires a first-time finish low into the bottom-left corner! It's 1-0 to Bayern!
3' SAVE! A misplaced pass from Goretzka plays Selke in behind and he only has Neuer to beat, but the striker lacks conviction, shooting tamely across goal and Neuer makes the save and hangs on.
1' We're underway in Munich!
Furthermore, Bayern have won their last three top-flight matches in a row against Hertha - only from 2002 to 2003 (four) and from 2009 to 2016 (11) did they celebrate more consecutive Bundesliga victories against the capital club.
Since a 2-0 defeat in October 1977, Bayern have remained undefeated against Hertha in 26 consecutive Bundesliga home games (W20 D6) - only against Borussia Monchengladbach have they had a longer unbeaten streak at home in their Bundesliga history (30 games between 1966 and 1994).
Meanwhile, Hertha head coach Pal Dardai makes four changes following the 2-1 Bundesliga defeat to Wolfsburg in their last outing. Pekarik and Dilrosun are dropped to the bench, while Marvin Plattenhardt and Kevin-Prince Boateng miss out altogether. Zeefuik, Mittelstadt, Tousart and Jovetic come into the starting line-up.
Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann retains just four players from the rotated side that beat Bremer 12-0 in the DFB-Pokal last time out. Sule, Kimmich, Musiala and Muller are the quartet to keep their spots as seven changes are made.
Hertha Berlin substitutes: Ishak Belfodil, Marco Richter, Javairo Dilrosun, Peter Pekarik, Vladimir Darida, Nils Korber, Lukas Klunter, Dennis Jastrzembski, Jordan Torunarigha.
Hertha Berlin (4-2-3-1): Alexander Schwolow; Deyovaisio Zeefuik, Dedryck Boyata, Niklas Stark, Maximilian Mittelstadt; Suat Serdar, Santiago Ascacibar; Dodi Lukebakio, Stevan Jovetic, Lucas Tousart; Davie Selke.
Bayern Munich substitutes: Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso, Tanguy Kouassi, Leroy Sane, Omar Richards, Sven Ulreich, Chris Richards, Bouna Sarr, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Josip Stanisic, Dayot Upamecano, Niklas Sule, Alphonso Davies; Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka; Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller, Jamal Musiala; Robert Lewandowski.
Reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern will be expecting to win comfortably as they host a Hertha side that prop up the table after losing both of their opening two league fixtures.
