That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
This win sends Arsenal above Tottenham and into fourth position, but Spurs play later on today and have a slightly better goal difference so things could change. Next up for the Gunners is a trip to West Ham. Meanwhile United remain sixth, six points off fourth spot and next up for them is a game against Chelsea in midweek.
Arsenal come out on top in a thrilling game at the Emirates, boosting their chances of clinching a top four spot this season. Tavares put them ahead after just three minutes, before Saka converted from the spot to make it 2-0, but Ronaldo pulled one back to make it 2-1 at the break. United then came out fighting at the start of the second period and Fernandes had an opportunity to equalise from the penalty spot after Matic was fouled, but he struck the woodwork. Ramsdale then pulled off a superb save to deny Dalot at his near post, pushing the ball onto the post. United’s missed opportunities came back to haunt them later on, as Xhaka made it 3-1 on 70 minutes with a superb strike from outside the box, wrapping up the three points.

Somehow we’ve only seen three goals here, but there have been countless chances in front of goal for both teams to score more, with Ramsdale and De Gea making numerous saves. Although Arsenal won’t mind too much as they lead 2-1 and their first goal came early on through Taveres, after he pounced on a rebound at the far post following De Gea’s save to deny Saka. Nketiah then thought he had made it 2-0, but his goal was ruled out for offside, however, Saka was fouled by Telles in the build-up so after a VAR check a penalty was awarded, which Saka converted. 27' ARSENAL GOAL? Saka plays a lovely one-two with Odegaard on the edge of the penalty area and it looks like Saka wants to get a shot away himself, but instead flicks it to Nketiah under pressure from Telles. 15' PENALTY SHOUT! Elanga gets in behind the Arsenal defence again, with Tavares hot on his heels as he closes in on Ramsdale's goal. The United winger goes down under the pressure and appeals for a penalty, but nothing is given.
13' Arsenal are unbeaten in their last three Premier League home games against Man Utd (W2 D1), keeping a clean sheet each time – they’ve never kept a clean sheet in four consecutive home league games against the Red Devils.
11' CHANCE! Ramsdale plays a poor pass out from the back and it falls straight to a United player and then to Fernandes, who tries to lob the ball over the keeper, but Gabriel does brilliantly to get back and make the block to send it wide.
10' It looks like Saka has an issue here for Arsenal, he's gone down after a collision with Telles and the medical team are on the pitch. It looks like he's going to try and run the injury off.
8' This is better from United, they've managed to get on the ball a bit more in the last couple of minutes, but Arsenal are pressing high and fast, so not allowing them much time in possession.
6' SAVE! United counter quickly and Ronaldo releases Elanga through on goal and he races into the penalty area and only has Ramsdale to beat. However, his strike is too close to the keeper, who makes a great stop to deny him.

A deep cross comes into the box from the left wing and Varane and Telles both take a swing at the ball but miss it and it falls to Saka at the back post. Saka tries to curl it into the bottom left corner of the net, but De Gea makes a great diving save to deny him. However, it lands straight into the path of Tavares, who has a tap-in from close range and he makes it 1-0.
2' Arsenal have started the game brightly, they are keeping the ball well in the United half and already look dangerous in the final third, looking for an early goal.
