Sony Sugar made it five straight wins as Agwanda grabbed a brace while the Nigerian import was also on target for Ingwe in another victory

  • Sammy Okinda saves against Umaru Kasumba of Sofapaka.

#1 Keeper- Sammy Okinda - Posta Rangers

Facing a team that has lost two consecutive matches and has not scored in three matches means it will be a busy day. But the former Nakumatt keeper showed his class by rising to the occasion, helping the team keep a clean sheet after three defeats.

  • Tusker v Ulinzi Stars.

#2 Right back- Marlon Tangauzi - Tusker

With Collins Shivachi out injured, Marlon Tangauzi was once again given an opportunity to show his worth against a fast Zoo Kericho side. He did not disappoint neither as he made timely interceptions and played a great role in helping the brewers keep a clean sheet.

  • 7: Whyvonne Isuza (Mathare United)

#3 Left back - Titus Achesa – Posta Rangers

Achesa was a rock for the Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo led side, stopping Ulinzi Stars wingers on their tracks. Brought in a number of decent crosses for the strikers, unfortunately none paid dividends.

  • Michael Kibwage of AFC Leopards

#4 Center back - Mike Kibwage - AFC

In the absence of Abdalla Salim and Robinson Kamura means Kibwage continues to prove his value for Ingwe. Won most tackles and aerial duels; his partnership with captain Duncan Otieno was excellent.

  • Eugine Ambulwa celebrates scoring for Nakumatt FC.

#5 Center back - Eugene Ambulwa - Nakumatt

Are AFC Leopards regretting letting Ambulwa go? Hard to tell, but most probably, yes! He has improved a great deal, and was once again a factor for the Shoppers, who never gave Mathare United a chance to hit the back of the net.

  • MICHAEL MADOYA of Zoo Kericho HASHIM SEMPALA of Tusker.

#6 Defensive midfielder - Hashim Sempala - Tusker

Coming up against Michael Madoya of Zoo Kericho is always a tough task, on their day they are unstoppable, but Hashim was there for the brewers. He made it look easy, stopped about two crucial attacks from the midfield.

  • AFC Leopards striker Alex Omatorol and Bandari.

#7 Attacking midfielder - Orotomal – AFC Leopards

Came in for Ezekiel Seda and his impact was felt immediately. Was unlucky to see his strike ruled out for offside, but still his determination gave him a legit goal. Went on to create several good chances and was a threat for the entire period he was on the pitch.

  • Nakumatt v Posta Rangers.

#8 Attacking Midfielder - Joe Waithera - Nakumatt

This man was the reason why Wazito made it to the Kenyan Premier League, and when the shoppers realized he is available they immediately went for him. He was a thorn against the ‘slum boys’ and managed to score a brace.

  • Brian Marita (R) and Yusuf Mainge of AFC Leopards.

#9 Offensive Right - Brian Marita - Leopards

When Western Stima was relegated last season, he was among the first players to be signed by AFC Leopards because of his talent. Was a live wire against Thika United, bringing in cross after cross, and was later on rewarded with an assist.

  • Boniface Muchiri of Tusker celebrates against Zoo Kericho.j

#10 Offensive left - Boniface Muchiri - Tusker

Muchiri is one of the few players, who have maintained their place since coach Robert Matano took charge, just because of his hard work. Zoo players had problem in tracing him at times and at the end he managed to score what turned out to be the winner.

  • ENOCK AGWANDA of SOny Sugar and CLIF NYAKEYA of Mathare United.

#11 Forward - Enock Agwanda - Sony Sugar

After his move from Ushuru to Sony Sugar, it is clear that Agwanda has now settled. His display says it all. Against Kariobangi Sharks, he proved he is still as dangerous as ever by scoring a brace that helped the sugar millers register another win in the top flight.
