West Bromwich Albion are aiming to maintain their perfect start to the Premier League season when they welcome Stoke City to the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.
Many pundits had suggested that the Baggies could find themselves embroiled in a scrap for survival, but Tony Pulis' team have defied the doubters so far this season, picking up maximum points from their opening two Premier League fixtures.
Stoke started the season with a narrow 1-0 defeat against Everton at Goodison Park, but Mark Hughes' men made home advantage count last weekend as they claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win against Arsenal with Jese Rodriguez, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, grabbing the only goal of the game on his debut for the Potters.
Both of these sides were comfortable victors in Cup competition in midweek, with West Brom cruising to a 3-1 win against Accrington Stanley on Tuesday, while Stoke cruised to a 4-0 win against Rochdale on Wednesday night.
West Brom are dabblebet's 6/4 (2.50) favourites to maintain their winning streak this weekend, while the visitors are chalked up as an 11/5 (3.20) chance to pick up all three points. There is 21/10 (3.10) that the match remains all square at the end of 90 minutes.
Pulis' team have won 1-0 in both of their Premier League matches so far this season - against AFC Bournemouth and Burnley respectively - with 5/1 (6.0) that the scoreline is repeated here and 6/1 (7.0) that it is the visitors who enjoy a second successive 1-0 win in the Premier League.
Given that there have been fewer than two goals scored in each of the four Premier League matches that these two teams have contested between them this season, it is perhaps unsurprising that just 1/2 (1.50) is available that there are fewer than three goals in the game - there is 4/6 (1.67) that either side fails to find the net here.
Furthermore, all four goals in the Premier League matches that these clubs have contested this term have come in the second half. As such, the 13/10 (2.30) quote for the first half to end 0-0 may prove popular, with 10/11 (1.91) that the match remains all square at the break.
The Baggies boasted a solid home record in the top tier last term, picking up 29 of their 45 points at the Hawthorns. Stoke, by contrast, struggled on their travels, with the Potters picking up full points from just four of their 19 Premier League games on the road last season.
The home side, therefore, could be good value to continue their fine form in front of their own supporters and dabblebet's 6/4 (2.50) quote for West Brom to see off Stoke City on Sunday afternoon may offer good value for punters from this top flight tussle.
